Convention of the North American Regional Administration of the IWW
Convention is a yearly gathering of all bodies of the North American Regional Administration of the Industrial Workers of the World. At Convention, you will hear reports from around the union, and delegates will consider a number of resolutions brought forth to change either the IWW’s Constitution or its Manual of Policies and Procedures.
This year, Convention is being hosted by the Northeast Ohio Branch. We will elect at least 2 but not more than 7 delegates to represent the Los Angeles General Membership Branch at Convention.
Interested in representing the Los Angeles IWW at Convention? We are electing delegates at our branch meeting on July 11 at 2:15 PM, and you can self-nominate or nominate a fellow worker.
We will discuss all resolutions that have been submitted to Convention at our special meeting on July 25 at 1:30 PM. We will also make recommendations on how our branch should vote at Convention.

Organizer Training 101 (Hybrid!) Day 3
The Los Angeles IWW is hosting a hybrid Organizer Training 101 in July! The OT101 is an intensive training that will give you the skills and tools you need to build an organizing committee at your workplace. You will learn what constitutes a union, how to have one-on-one conversations with coworkers, the basics of labor law, and how to organize and carry out direct actions. Attendees are expected to attend all 3 sessions.
When:
Day 1: Tuesday, July 7th, 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM (Online)
Day 2: Thursday, July 9th, 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM (Online)
Day 3: Saturday, July 11th, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (IN-PERSON)

San Diego Organizer Training 101
Our excellent neighbors in the San Diego IWW are putting on an Organizer Training! It will be on the weekend of May 16-17, 2026. Given that this is pretty close to the Los Angeles GMB’s jurisdiction, we are spreading the word to any interested and available fellow workers.
